I am a huge advocate of using what you have on hand to create. It's really exciting when you find a new art form. However, sometimes we get overwhelmed with thinking we have to go out shopping and buy a ton of supplies before we get started. Been there, done that. However, that is one of the wonderful things about art journaling you can use what you have on hand to create. And yes you can create beautiful art.
Here, I share a page I created this week, using only a pencil in my journal. It's part of my effort to enjoy my art easily, without the pressure or the need to use 10 things on one page. What I found is that, I enjoy creating just as much with only one thing, as I do creating with many. The point is, I took time to create and let my desire flow effortlessly onto the page. I think I could actually have an album exclusively for pencil drawing. Love this!
